Workday Integrations Consultant/Technical (with studio expertise)

Location: Remote

Duration: Long term

First priority is workday Studio

 

We are seeking a Senior Workday Integrations Consultant (with studio expertise) to lead, support and provide guidance to our clients and internal teams with building and optimizing integrations to and from Workday. Integration consultants also support broader testing initiatives, tenant migrations, and provide post-production support for in-scope integrations. 

 

The Opportunity and Responsibilities: 

• Ability to review / interpret / refine requests from the business or end user teams and translate them into technical requirements. 

• Perform hands-on integration configuration, testing, and deployment activities, as needed 

• Consultant will be involved in ongoing support activities (AMS) that include dealing with defects, new enhancements, and optimization projects. They will work with client teams to resolve and address these items. 

• Support report development and data conversion as related to the integration scope of work 

• Work effectively under time-critical deadlines and handle competing priorities 

• Oversee and provide Q/A reviews for our offshore integration developers 

• Support GTM and sales related activities that include integrations 

• Opportunity to move to a full-time role and get Workday certification. 

 

What you need: 

• 4+ years of hands-on configuration experience with Workday technical suite which includes Workday Studio, EIB, report writer, custom reporting, calculated fields, XSLT, Workday Security, core connectors, document transformation 

• Advanced integration certifications (within last 2 years) are preferred to allow candidate to be added to Workday customer scorecard for project work. 

• Experience working with one or more functional HCM areas (to support integration development) 

• High-level understanding of the Workday integration (with other systems / applications) architecture, in particular API’s 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while not losing focus on quality 

• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality. 

• Experience working with and leading offshore teams during projects and for ongoing support of above-mentioned modules. This will require being able to take early morning and late evening calls to meet global stakeholders. 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent with 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience, required 

• Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members.
