Job Description:
Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Architect to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have over 14 years of experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) technologies, HR systems, and process improvement, with a strong background in Workday HCM solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead and drive HR transformation initiatives, ensuring business objectives are met while optimizing Workday functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of Workday HCM solutions, ensuring that the system is aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
· Develop and manage HR analytics strategies to support reporting, forecasting, and performance optimization across HR functions.
· Drive improvements across key HR processes, including Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Payroll within Workday.
· Lead and manage change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during HCM system changes, including user training and system adoption.
· Utilize Agile project management methodologies to ensure Workday HCM solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
· Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships, ensuring the integration of third-party solutions into Workday.
· Collaborate closely with financial planning teams to integrate financial modules effectively into Workday HCM.
· Ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements, managing systems, processes, and documentation to meet regulatory standards.
· Provide leadership in Workday Reporting, Workday Studio, and Core Connector to drive system integration and reporting excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:

· Extensive experience in Agile project management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
· Expertise in key HR functional areas such as Absence Management, Time & Labor, Payroll, and Change Management within the Workday platform.
· In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday Reporting, Workday Studio, and Core Connector.
· Proven experience in managing vendor relations and ensuring seamless system integrations between third-party applications and Workday.
· Familiarity with SOX and audit compliance requirements, ensuring all HR systems adhere to regulatory standards.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
