Location: Kansas City, KS (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
- DataCenter Wintel Admin
- Manage virtual and physical servers with Windows Server 2012 R2. 2016, 2019 and RHEL operating systems
- Strong exposure in working with customer directly and driving deliverables, issues, improvements, calls etc.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange, IIS operations and troubleshooting
- Proficient in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies, TCP/IP etc
- Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience in installing, configuring and integrating servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure
- Manage virtualization infrastructures covering vCenter and standalone ESXi environments
- Strong hands-on experience in building highly available server clusters in a vSphere environment
- Experience in managing and administering Cisco UCS servers.
- Expertise in administering OS patch deployment for all corporate endpoints using SCCM, vulnerability remediations
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere.
- Strong experience in building and configuring virtual networks, in VM templates used for rapid deployment of virtual machines
- Excellent scripting / automation skills.
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and server and workstation patching with SCCM
- Experience administering Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
- Experience working with Exchange Server and deploying email solutions
- Strong hands-on experience to manage the physical and virtual environment (VMware) end to end•
- Strong experience in Installing, configuring, and maintaining the organizations Windows servers
- Realtime experience in monitoring server performance, OS refresh’s, migrations •
- Strong troubleshooting skills on windows server issues/connectivity issues etc•
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of all Windows server systems•
- Exposure to ticketing tools like Service Now etc
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
