Request:
Purpose: The purpose of this resource is to assist us in developing the framework of the user experience within customer IT estate, starting with the CMS site. We want this resource to develop the skeleton, or template, that we can then use within all of the applications within customer IT estate.
Problem: Currently, Client CMS is not user friendly and not user interactive. The site is very report driven, resulting in inefficiencies in obtaining the data needed in a quick fashion. Often times, one needs to know the certain dates in which a transaction has occurred in order to drill down into the detailed information of the transactions. The user experience throughout the site is very poor and very out of date. In a few of the reports, we are extracting too much information. Information that is confusing to the customers and, although not Pll data, unique transactional identifiers that we should not be exposing to the customers.
Need: We need someone that can take the UI designs and convert them into front-end code using front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Some of the skill and tasks that we are looking for are:
An overall understanding of popular code libraries such as Angular, jQuery, Knockout, etc. We are not looking for someone to code in these libraries but for the person to be aware of how the front-end languages integrate to the code libraries.
Can quickly develop mockups and prototypes.
Create wireframes and user flows.
Experience in content management solutions would be helpful.
Understanding of user habits and user experiences so we can effectively develop the navigation throughout the multiple pages.
We are looking for someone creative.
Education bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
