Location: San Jose, CA (Day 1 Onsite)

Duration:  6-9 months Contract

Job Description:

A UI/UX Designers job description typically encompasses both User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) responsibilities. focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly digital interfaces that are also aesthetically pleasing and visually engaging. This role involves understanding user needs, conducting research, designing user flows, creating wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring designs are accessible and functional.

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points.

• Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to represent user interfaces and experiences.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to identify and address usability issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
• Iteration and Improvement: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
• Accessibility: Ensure designs adhere to accessibility guidelines, making them usable for people with disabilities.
• Communication: Communicate design concepts, decisions, and findings to various stakeholders.
• Design Systems:

• Design Software Proficiency: Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, and other industry-standard tools.
• UX Research and Analysis: Understanding of user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve user interface and experience challenges.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform design decisions.
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Basic knowledge of these web technologies can be helpful for collaboration with developers.
• Understanding of Business Goals: Ability to translate business objectives into user-centered designs.
• Aesthetic Sense: Strong visual design sense and understanding of design principles.
• Experience with UI/UX Design Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Lean UX, and other design methodologies

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
