Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Integration Developer with expertise in API Management to join our digital transformation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and managing integration scenarios using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), specifically leveraging SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Cloud Integration (CPI), and Event Mesh. You will play a key role in modernizing our system landscape and enabling seamless communication across cloud and on-premise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using SAP BTP services such as:
  • Cloud Integration (CPI)
  • API Management
  • Event Mesh
  • Open Connectors
• Create, publish, and manage APIs in the API Management layer of SAP Integration Suite.
• Develop secure and scalable APIs following best practices for authentication, authorization, throttling, and monitoring.
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, OData, and other relevant protocols.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot existing integrations and APIs, and ensure high availability and performance.
• Ensure adherence to governance, security policies, and compliance standards in integration development.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of integration practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including API Management.
• Strong understanding of API lifecycle management and API security concepts (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI, Groovy scripting, XML, JSON, XSLT.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA (on-premise/cloud) and other SAP systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Ariba).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and tools like Event Mesh or Kafka is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based source control systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Integration Suite or similar certification.
• Experience with API design tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Exposure to Fiori apps and SAP Extension Suite.
• Background in business process integration across enterprise domains (Finance, Procurement, etc.).
