You will provide insights to optimize performance, improve quality outcomes, and enhance reimbursement strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret healthcare data related to quality measures, Star ratings, and risk adjustment reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including healthcare providers, actuaries, and policy analysts to drive strategic initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in healthcare delivery and reimbursement.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements such as CMS guidelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting Medicare value-based programs.
- Provide support for ad hoc data requests and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience working in healthcare analytics, with a focus on Medicare value-based programs.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R and PowerBI
- Expertise in healthcare quality measures, Star ratings methodology, and risk adjustment models.
- Experience with healthcare data sources such as claims data, electronic health records (EHR), and administrative databases.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare policy, regulations, and payment models related to Medicare Advantage and other value-based programs is a plus.
