This team is working on several projects including overall modernization of their tool stack and migration from IBM Unica. 

The role will be technical in nature and the incumbent will be the “go-to” person for all things AEP and the Adobe Tool Stack.  There is a need for strong communication skills in this role as the person will be collaborating with internal business partners/stakeholders, the enterprise MarTech team and Data Analysts/Engineers within their Analytics group. 

 

Description: Vanguard is still looking for an Adobe Experience Platform Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data analysts for data discovery and guide data engineers on data ingestion from various sources into the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
  1. Ensure data quality within the platform, monitor data ingestion, and maintain a solid understanding of schemas, identity services, data lifecycle, query services, and future use of data science workspace, intelligent services, and use case playbooks.
  2. Perform data transformations by writing queries (data prep/data distiller), build and enhance XDM schemas for batch and streaming datasets, and configure source and destination connectors.
  3. Activate and build profiles for identity stitching, ensuring data compatibility with downstream analytics and reporting needs, and collaborate with data engineers for data egress from AEP to S3.
  4. Work with the data governance team to ensure privacy and compliance standards are met by adding governance tags to data fields and keeping the governance teams informed.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and use audiences in the CDP, provide segmentation strategies for segmentation builders (batch, edge, and streaming types), and assist in understanding data and its limitations.
  6. Stay updated with the MarTech CDP team on contract policies, new releases, activation of source and destination connectors, and segmentation guardrails within AEP.
  7. Understand AEP guardrails for batch ingestion, streaming ingestion, RT-CDP profile, data model limits, data size limits, and segmentation guardrails.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Web SDK and Adobe Launch (Data Collection Tags).
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience in relationship management, stakeholder management, and high motivation.

 

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Customer Journey Analytics.
