Job Description:
The Sr. UX researcher will be a leader on United's UX (user experience)
team. The researcher will be integral to products and an advocate for both
users and user experience research process from discovery through design
delivery.
In this role, the Sr. UX Researcher will define strategy, develop and execute
research plans, apply appropriate methodologies and report findings that
elevate and translate user insights into actionable recommendations.
At the core, this position will transform unmet user needs and business
opportunities into successful product launches through user research
throughout different design phases. The UX Sr Researcher will work to create
a best in class user experience for United’s frontline employees, helping
transform unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful
employee tools.
The ideal candidate has a passion for user centered research and design and
has a wide breadth of experience across multiple types of products, channels
and research methodologies.
Responsibilities
1. Facilitate, direct & solicit feedback during design reviews
2. Develop data collection efforts and oversee data analysis and
synthesis using industry standard techniques.
3. Design and implement research studies, including developing
methodologies and data collection instruments.
4. Lead, plan and execute field visits to shadow users in ethnographic
states.
5. Develop, prepare and deliver research reports, presentations, and
other research deliverables
6. Analyze research findings across products and provide actionable
insights to stakeholders. Maintain & advocate for research repository.
7. Strategize and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate
research findings into decision-making processes.
8. Lead and plan workshops using established workshop frameworks.
9. Mentor researchers and provide guidance on research best practices.
Actively contribute to team culture and research ops.
10. Stay abreast of emerging trends and methodologies in the field

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst capable of successfully organizing multiple scopes from concept to completion in our Digital Servicing (AI-Artificial Intelligence) space. We have a roadmap to deliver a variety of new technology projects to further our ability to provide self- service for our customers. We need an exceptional, experienced leader who can interact with senior stakeholders but also manage the all the details needed to deliver the project on-time and on-budget.
Role is hybrid and resource needs to be based in the Chicago area. Expectation is resource is in the office three days a week – downtown Chicago. Strong vendor management, team leadership, relationship management and time management skills are necessary to excel in this position. This is a very busy environment so important that resource brings a lot of energy to the role.
Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data. Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
Primary Responsibilities:
� Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
� Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
� Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
� Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
