Role: Business Integration Analyst
Location: Remote (Should be flexible to work in Pacific and Central time)
Job Description:
- Requirements Gathering & Execution:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and capture business requirements.
- Work with the cross-functional (XFN) team to execute these requirements and ensure alignment across teams.
- System Solution Design:
- Partner with the Engineering team to define and design system solutions that address business needs and integration requirements.
- Single Point of Contact (POC):
- Act as the sole point of contact for business teams and XFN during discussions related to each project and its requirements.
- Integration Design & Configuration:
- Design, build, and configure system integrations to meet business process requirements and ensure smooth connectivity between systems (internal and external).
- External Partner Collaboration:
- Work closely with external partners, vendors, and third-party system providers to plan, execute, and implement data exchanges that benefit both parties involved.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor integration solutions and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Ongoing Integration Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and third-party providers to maintain and manage integration connections and ensure ongoing reliability.
- Clear Communication:
- Provide proactive communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and effective information sharing.
Key Qualifications:
- Supply Chain Management Knowledge:
- A background in Supply Chain Management, either with a degree in the field or at least 2 years of experience working with Oracle Order Management, Logistics, and Inventory Management solutions.
- Integration Expertise:
- At least 5 years of experience working with various integration technologies, such as APIs, EDI X12, EDIFACT, JSON, and XML.
- Additional Technical Skills:
- SQL Skills: At least 3 years of experience using query languages like SQL, which is valuable for managing and troubleshooting data flows.
- No-Code Development: Experience with no-code platforms like Appsheet (1+ year) for building applications without extensive coding.
- Language Proficiency (Optional):
- Fluency in Japanese is a plus, especially for collaborating with Japanese partners or handling systems in the Japanese language.
- EDI & Documentation:
- Strong experience in writing functional design documents, creating/maintaining EDI maps and specifications, and troubleshooting complex EDI issues.
- Ability to work with external EDI partners and ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
- Support & Testing:
- Provide functional support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Work with the QA team to ensure the stability and reliability of systems supporting critical business processes.
- Business Analyst Tasks:
- Perform typical business analyst duties, including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing to meet the needs of EDI-based business processes.
- ERP System Interface:
- Interface with other functional groups to address issues related to ERP systems and ensure that integrations function smoothly.
Additional Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with ERP systems: Working knowledge of ERP systems and understanding the business processes they support.
- Experience with troubleshooting EDI failures: A good understanding of complex EDI troubleshooting is key for managing large data exchanges.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills: Ability to work across different teams (engineering, business, external vendors) to ensure the success of integration projects.
