Senior Android Developer
Job Location: Richmond, VA (Day 1-Onsite, Candidates need to work 3 Days at Client Office)
Must Have Skills:
- Front End Development: 10+ Years of experience in Mobile or Web Development.
- Back End Development: 7+ Years of experience.
- DevOps Engineering: 4+ Years of experience.
- Programming Languages: 7+ Years of experience with Python, Swift, TypeScript, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
- UI Testing Frameworks: 4+ Years of experience with Apple AUI, Earl Grey, Espresso, or Cypress.
- Infrastructure as Code Tools: 4+ Years of experience with Terraform or similar tools.
- CI/CD Tools: 4+ Years of experience with Jenkins or similar tools.
- Container Tools: 4+ Years of experience with Docker or similar tools.
- Monitoring and Observability Tools: 4+ Years of experience with New Relic, Splunk, or similar tools.
What You’ll Do:
- Support Mobile, Web, and Backend Teams:
- Provide monitoring guidance.
- Develop tooling to simplify and enhance monitoring setup.
- Educate and assist Mobile and Web teams in configuring meaningful client-side monitoring alerts.
- Train teams to respond to incidents.
- Add additional monitoring functionality.
- Assist Backend teams in setting and achieving Service Level Objectives.
- Engage with Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Leadership, and Architects.
- Identify and implement process/tooling improvements to reduce delivery time and maintenance.
- Automate Testing:
- Help automate test account conditioning.
- Educate and support teams in writing automated tests against live APIs for regression.
- Support Mobile and Web teams in automating visual and accessibility testing.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 10+ Years of Front End (Mobile or Web) Development experience.
- 7+ Years of Back End Development experience.
- 4+ Years of DevOps Engineering experience.
- 7+ Years of programming experience in Python, Swift, TypeScript, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
- 4+ Years of experience with UI Testing frameworks such as Apple AUI, Earl Grey, Espresso, or Cypress.
- 4+ Years of experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
- 4+ Years of experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- 4+ Years of experience with Docker or other container tools.
- 4+ Years of experience with New Relic, Splunk, or other monitoring and observability tools.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Certification
