Job Description:

 

•              Platform Strategy:

o              Lead the overall design of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry and technical best practices.

o              Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams to develop and implement innovative solutions using ServiceNow platform.

o              Define platform roadmaps, by ensuring scalability, performance, stability, and audit compliance.

o              Lead the design of workflows, integrations, and modules to extend the ServiceNow platform’s capabilities.

•              ServiceNow Implementation & Optimization:

o              Drive the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow solutions, focusing on Core foundation, ITSM, ITAM, SecOPs, GRC, TPRM, and other relevant modules.

o              Manage platform upgrades and ensure all applications are optimized and adhere to enterprise security and compliance standards.

o              Provide technical guidance to configure, customize, and develop on the ServiceNow platform based on business needs.

o              Manage the documentation of solutions, internal technical and process knowledge base materials, and training of process owners and stakeholders.

•              Leadership:

o              Provide process governance and technical best practices.

o              Providing mentorship and guidance for a team of ServiceNow engineers

o              Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Engineering, Finance, HR) to drive adoption and ensure platform success.

o              The ability to meet strict deadlines and other targets both individually and as the leader of multiple teams, strong decision maker.

•              Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

o              Engage with executive leadership and management to understand business objectives, providing solutions that deliver tangible value and measurable outcomes.

o              Coordinate with ServiceNow team management to ensure clear communication regarding project status, challenges, and milestones.

•              Continuous Improvement:

o              Establish technical governance and best practices to continuously improve platform performance and operational efficiency.

o              Stay current with the latest ServiceNow trends, releases, and best practices, proactively applying new technologies and functionalities to enhance the platform.

o              Create a safe space for engineering team members to experiment with technical solutions that may solve organizational problems.

Required Qualifications:

•              Experience:

o              10+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including deep technical expertise in ITSM, ITAM, SecOPs, GRC, and TPRM modules.

o              Strong experience in architecture and design of ServiceNow platform implementations, including workflows, custom apps, and integrations.

o              Proven experience leading technical teams, process governance and delivering large-scale projects.

•              Technical Skills:

o              Proficiency with scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, etc.) in the context of ServiceNow platform development and Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap)

o              Strong understanding of CMDB, Asset Management, Discovery, Portal, Incident, Problem, and Change Request Management processes.

o              Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub and Spokes.

o              Nice to have Perl and Python programming in Linux environment.

o              Experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban development methodologies.

•              Leadership & Communication:

o              Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams, ensuring a collaborative and high-performance culture.

o              Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to business leaders and stakeholders.

•              Education/Certifications:

o              Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

o              ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITAM, or similar).

o              ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

o              ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

o              ITIL v3/v4 certification is a plus.

o              Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a big plus.
