Role: Sr DevOps Engineer with Cloud Security (MCP)

Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite)

DevOps: 12+ Years

Cloud Security: 8+ Years

Network Security: 8+ Years

Kubernetes Security: 5+ Years

Golang/Python: 3+ Years

JD:

• Deep understanding of cloud computing, including virtualization, containerization, and microservices;
• Understanding of security concepts – kubernetes security, IAM security, container security, network security, auditing, data protection, and CI/CD security;
• Experience designing and deploying Vector.dev, experience designing and developing SIEM with ADX and Sentinel;
• Proficiency in Python or Golang for security or observability engineering;
• Experience in devops and agile for solution delivery through CI/CD;
• Hands-on experience with automation and development;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Skills:

• Experience in hands-on development with Golang or Python.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment and management, particularly in a security context.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools and cloud security practices.
• Ability to develop and integrate security controls within cloud services.
• Proficiency in working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

Skill Area Description Skill Level Hands-on Development (Golang/Python) Experience in coding and development using Golang or Python.

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Knowledge and implementation of IaC tools like Terraform.

Cloud Security Practices Implementing security controls and practices within cloud services.

CI/CD Pipelines Working with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

DevOps Processes Knowledge of DevOps practices and processes, including K8s deployment.

Security Logging (Splunk) Experience with security logging, including Splunk for log aggregation and threat identification.

Telemetry and Threat Detection Hands-on experience with telemetry, threat detection, and SIEM solutions using ADX and Sentinel.

API Development Experience in developing APIs.
