Position: ServiceNow Developer
Job Location: Remote (PST Hours)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with over 5 years of expertise in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage ServiceNow’s out-of-the-box capabilities to provide process-driven solutions that meet business needs. Strong communication skills, self-starting attitude, and proficiency in core ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HAM, Service Portal, and Catalogs, are essential. ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate high-level business requirements into functional ServiceNow solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using ServiceNow’s out-of-the-box features, minimizing custom coding.
- Deliver process-driven solutions that improve efficiency and meet organizational goals.
- Work on ServiceNow Core, ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change), ITOM (CMDB, Discovery), and HAM (Hardware Asset Management) modules.
- Develop and customize Service Portals and Catalogs, including Service Catalog, Record Producers, and Order Guides.
- Write and maintain JavaScript code for customizations, including business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and script includes.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle within the ServiceNow platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with workflows, integrations, and performance.
- Implement best practices in ServiceNow development to ensure system stability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades and patching to ensure all environments are functioning smoothly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all processes, configurations, and customizations.
- Stay informed on the latest ServiceNow releases and new features.
Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Proven track record of providing process-driven solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong understanding of Core ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HAM).
- Experience with Service Portals and Catalog development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for developing customizations and workflows in ServiceNow.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently and own projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer) certifications are required.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP) and data imports.
- Familiarity with Flow Designer, Orchestration, and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline integration in ServiceNow.
