Power BI Developer
Location: Bentonville, AR

UST is seeking an independent and proactive Power BI Developer to join a multi-vendor, multi-geo dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality software products. This role is ideal for someone who feels unfulfilled in their current BI position and is looking to lead, innovate, and grow within a vibrant business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Business Intelligence Analysis: Study, analyze, and understand business requirements within the context of business intelligence and analytics.
- Dashboard Development: Utilize Power BI to design, build, deploy, and fine-tune interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Data Modeling: Design and map data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights, including building multi-dimensional data models.
- SQL Expertise: Prepare queries and scripts to calculate accuracy tables, design and implement dashboards to visualize accuracy comparison, and validate and fix bugs in collaboration with users.
- Requirement Gathering: Act as a liaison between Business and Technical teams to gather and understand requirements effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and fine-tune Power BI reports to ensure optimal performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- Power BI Expertise: 5+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Analytics-focused role with a strong background in Power BI dashboard and report development.
- SQL Proficiency: 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or SQL query skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Python, PySpark, and Airflow
Additional Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Independent Contributor: Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Office Presence: The position is primarily onsite, with flexibility for remote work for the right candidate under the following conditions:
- Must work in CST timezone.
- Be available for video calls without notice during working hours.
- Work from the agreed location.
- Participate in video for stand-ups and other meetings.
- Be available to work from the local office as needed.
