UST is looking for a Python/Snowflake onsite developer having following skills and experience:
Python Development:Function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needsCategorizing, cataloging, cleansing and normalization of data sets;Providing users access to datasets using Python APIs;Extraction, transformation, and loading of data from/to a wide variety of data sources using Python, SQL and Snowflake technologies;Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.Identify, design, and implement
internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing process for greater scalability, etc.Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
SQL Development:Development of high quality database solutionDatabase Development and DesignDevelop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL Proficiency in SQL ProgrammingSQL Query Optimization, Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements Data Modeling and Database AdministrationTroubleshooting and Debugging SQL CodeCollaborating with Development TeamsStrong Knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS) Data Analysis and Reporting Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
Snowflake Development:Design and develop data models and data warehouses in SnowflakeDevelop and maintain ETL processes to move data from source systems to Snowflake Create and maintain views, stored procedures, and other database objects Monitor and optimize query performance Troubleshoot and debug data issues Design and implement data security and access control Develop and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes Develop and maintain data warehouse automation processesDevelop and maintain data warehouse reporting and analytics solutions.
