Business System Analyst
Location: Tempe, AZ (within a 3-hour radius) or Santa Clara
Company: Silicon Valley Bank
Must-Have Skills:

Core Responsibilities:
- Expertise in loan portfolio datasets, particularly focused on Commercial Real Estate (CRE).
- Data warehousing and management.
- Analyze legacy applications, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Sanctions, Fraud, KYC, AML, and Payments domain knowledge is preferred.
- Extensive experience as a Software Analyst with systems and application management.
- Experience in the information technology domain within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Proven experience with systems implementation projects.
- Proficiency in development coding and relational database (SQL) queries.
- Advanced knowledge of systems integration through API, Microservices, web services, ETL, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and translate complex business requirements into functional system design documents.
- Perform technology and system-related analysis, using knowledge of current applications, interfaces, and data structures to recommend solutions.
- Facilitate and participate in design white-boarding sessions to ensure prioritized business needs are met within client standards.
- Provide leadership and support for system production issues, change requests, and maintenance; maintain knowledge documentation.
- Manage and direct remote team members to quickly resolve business-critical production incidents.
- Prepare and present subject matter expertise, analysis, and solutions in both written and presentation formats for internal and external audiences.
- Apply advanced data analysis skills to understand detailed data flows between and within systems for the domain.
- Stay updated on future technology and system trends to address current and future business needs.
- Configure systems and develop deep expertise in system functionality and design.
