Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure changes.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability of services.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency.
Provide on-call support for production systems and participate in incident response activities.
Stay current with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices to ensure the optimal use of technology.
Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda, and more.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in managing and guiding teams to achieve success and improve performance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
