Role: UX Designer
Location: Remote
Job Description:
- Reviewing the existing OSCAR screens and identifying areas where improvements are needed, focusing on usability, functionality, and visual design.
- Analyzing user feedback, analytics, and current industry trends to inform design decisions.
- Designing and Prototyping:
- Creating design mockups and prototypes for the updated screens.
- Using modern design principles, including simplicity, accessibility, and responsiveness, to improve the overall user experience.
- Implementation of Designs:
- Once the improvements are identified and approved, UX Designers will work on the implementation phase, ensuring the design is translated effectively into the Angular-based application.
- Utilizing Angular and Angular Materials to ensure consistency and responsiveness across the application.
- Collaborating with Developers:
- Collaborating with developers who are working with C# and SQL Server to ensure smooth integration of the new designs with the backend.
- Working closely with the Scrum team to ensure design implementation follows agile practices, including regular sprint reviews and feedback.
- Participation in Scrum:
- Actively participating in daily scrum meetings to provide updates on progress, discuss any issues or roadblocks, and collaborate with team members.
- User Testing & Feedback Integration:
- Conducting usability testing to gather feedback and refining the design based on this feedback to ensure a user-friendly outcome.
Key Skills:
Required:
- Modern UX Design: A strong understanding of modern design principles, focusing on creating intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces.
- Angular: Expertise in Angular, as the application is built on this framework, to ensure that the design aligns with the structure and functionality of the app.
- Angular Materials: Familiarity with Angular Material for building responsive, consistent, and modern UIs.
