Role: Sr. DevOps Engineer ( MCP) – Container Security

Location: Frisco, TX

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Container Security: Use tools like Wiz, Aqua Security, Twistlock, Falco to secure container workloads.
• Cloud Security: Ensure the security of cloud-native environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Vulnerability Management: Perform container image scanning, runtime protection, and implement network segmentation and least-privilege access policies.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate container security tools into CI/CD pipelines to automate security checks and ensure continuous monitoring and protection.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and work collaboratively to solve complex security problems.

Key Skills and Experience:

1. Wiz or similar tools (5+ years): Experience securing container workloads.
2. Container Technologies (5+ years): Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms like OpenShift, ECS, GKE.
3. Cloud Security (5+ years): Experience securing cloud environments, especially AWS, Azure, and GCP.
4. Container Security Best Practices: Knowledge of image scanning, runtime protection, network segmentation, secret management, and vulnerability scanning.
5. CI/CD Integration (5+ years): Familiarity with integrating container security tools into CI/CD pipelines for automation.
6. Scripting/Programming (5+ years): Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and security enhancement.
