Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Frisco, TX (Hybrid)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Frisco, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in DevOps, Azure infrastructure, and operations, with strong technical expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, and Grafana. This role requires hands-on involvement in maintaining and supporting applications, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a team of 5-10 members.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Azure infrastructure.
- Implement and manage DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Analyze, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
- Perform hands-on application monitoring and troubleshooting activities.
- Leverage tools like Splunk, Grafana, and AppDynamics for operational monitoring.
- Support 24×7 operations, including working in shifts when required.
- Lead a team of 5-10 members in operational and BizOps support roles.
- Utilize ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management to manage incidents and workflows.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
- Automate processes using scripting languages such as Python or Go.
- Write automation scripts based on business requirements.
- Follow Agile or Kanban methodologies for project management.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure Maintenance and Support.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Experience with Postman, ServiceNow, Splunk, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of databases such as Cosmos DB and MongoDB.
- Excellent troubleshooting and operational analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience in operations and BizOps support.
Optional Skills
- Automation and scripting experience in Shell or Python.
- Programming experience in Go.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like Jira Service Management.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
- Knowledge of Agile/Kanban methodologies.
Work Schedule
- This role requires 24×7 support and shift work. Candidates must be flexible and able to accommodate these requirements.
