Role: Javascript Developer

Location: Bentonville AR

Job Description:

1. Web & Cloud Application Development:

• Work with the design team to convert wireframes into code and create web and cloud applications.
• Design both client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) architecture.

1. Development Lifecycle:

• Participate in the full application development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment.
• Ensure application functionality across different platforms and environments.

1. Frontend & Backend Design:

• Build and design user interactions using front-end architecture frameworks.
• Develop databases, APIs, and backend systems to support the front-end application.

1. API & Web Services:

• Design and develop RESTful services and APIs.
• Work with technologies such as Node.js, React.js, and other frameworks.

1. Unit Testing & Debugging:

• Create and perform unit tests, fix defects, and retest as needed to ensure high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot performance and technical issues.

1. Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with architects, team leads, and IT leadership to develop technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers on coding standards, patterns, and strategies.
• Maintain strong communication with non-technical business partners to explain technical solutions clearly.

1. Standards & Best Practices:

• Enforce coding standards and best practices across teams.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments, and apply them to improve company solutions.

1. Integration & Testing:

• Work with other IT teams during integration processes to ensure successful implementations.
• Define functional and technical requirements, ensuring proper testing and validation throughout.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Technical Expertise:

• React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, HTML (3+ years experience in these technologies for front-end and back-end development).
• Strong experience in Backend development and Web development.
• Experience with Java, J2EE frameworks, Ruby, PHP, and Python (5+ years combined experience in backend technologies).

1. Database & Query Optimization:

• Detailed knowledge of working with databases, including query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning (query optimization).

1. REST Services & API Development:

• Experience in consuming REST services and working with Swagger specifications.
• API design and development knowledge.

1. Server Technologies & Frameworks:

• Experience working with Apache, Nginx, Node.js, ISS, and J2EE technologies.

1. JavaScript Libraries & Tools:

• Proficiency with libraries like Backbone.js, jQuery, and others.

1. Data Structures & Algorithms:

• Strong understanding of data structures, system design, and algorithms.

1. Version Control & Agile:

• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
