Urgent Req IT PROJECT MANGER @Need Locals

Role: IT Project Manager
Location: Jackson, MI(Hybrid Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)
Duration: 12 + months
US Citizen or green card

 

The  manager is looking for a Jr PM 2- 5  with infrastructure – this may be a contract to hire but they will not be able to hire until 2026.   They must be US or Green Card with and able to get NERC certifications and 7-year background check.  They will be doing some travel around the state since it is working with a lot of the solar farms.

PM duties include

Install infrastructure into trailers, new buildings, renovations, construction sites,

Very small of SAP install

Looking for a Jr. Project Manager to hire, shadow the current PM who is going to retire. / Someone that is eager, want to grow within Client

Hybrid in Jackson, MI

At times will have to travel to sites across the state

Some construction background

Microsoft Suite background

Good communication skills

Must be able to drive to other Client sites

1st interview 30 min phone, 2nd interview will be an onsite interview.

Routers, switches, rack, wrap – all infrastructure knowledge and background

2-5 years of experience

Will have a weekly meeting review,

Using Microsoft Project, work with vendors

Work with engineers

Lots of communication, being part of meetings

Maintain budgets, forecasting, weekly meetings (budgets ranging from $300k to $1 million)

Do not need to have a PMP, not a full requirement

Many solar farms are coming in, need to work with engineers, connect to data network, floor renovations, new buildings to be built.

This person will have to have a 7 year background check – for the sites they will be working on.

SAP – not a must, can learn as you go.

Possible OT – only when things are going live.
