Role: Deskside Support Engineer
Location – Remote (EST only)
Duration: Contract
Mandatory Skills:
- Endpoint technology (Mobile iron
- Patch management, SCCM, intune.
- Microsoft AVD, Citrix
This is a senior role that requires 10+ years of experience.
Provide Tier 3 support for all endpoint technology-related issues in collaboration with IT and users when necessary.
- Engineer, maintain, and update the Firm’s standard desktop image and software patch management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for endpoint hardware, Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Packaging tools, application deployment, and other enterprise platforms.
- Maintain Microsoft AVD and Citrix application updates and software patches.
- Take ownership of new technology implementations, including assessment, identification, testing, deployment, and documentation of standard endpoint hardware and software technologies.
- Monitor market developments and provide recommendations for upgrades, endpoint engineering, and management solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Actively monitor key metrics, report trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate and lead system and service maintenance activities, including highly complex application and service upgrades, as well as regular health checks according to corporate policies and procedures.
- Recommend and participate in the creation of corporate standards, best practices, and roadmaps for Information Technology endpoint systems, services, and technologies.
- Demonstrate ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, performing well under deadlines.
- Proactively identify, develop, and implement automated service delivery, provisioning, and remediation processes to reduce or eliminate user interaction and enhance system and service reliability.
