Job Summary 

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FIORI Consultant with over 9 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining user experience (UX) applications for SAP. Experience with SAP upgrade projects from a FIORI perspective is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
  • Design and customize FIORI applications using SAPUI5, XML, and JavaScript.
  • Activate and modify existing FIORI apps.
  • Update and migrate current SAP FIORI applications to newer versions during system upgrades, including:
    • Analyzing upgrade impacts on existing FIORI apps.
    • Identifying necessary adjustments and updating security roles.
    • Testing modified applications to ensure functionality.
    • Ensuring smooth transitions to new FIORI features in upgraded systems.
• Review and Assessment:
  • Evaluate current FIORI apps to identify those impacted by upgrades, including deprecated applications.
  • Utilize the SAP FIORI Apps Reference Library to assess the status of existing apps in the target release.
  • Analyze changes in functionality, layout, or behavior due to upgrades.
  • Adjust security roles for FIORI apps to maintain appropriate user access post-upgrade.
  • Modify custom FIORI apps to ensure compatibility with new versions.
• Integration:
  • Connect FIORI applications with SAP backend systems and external data sources.
• Testing and Support:
  • Ensure high-quality performance of FIORI applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for FIORI applications in production environments.
• Continuous Learning:
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP FIORI technologies and best practices.
• Documentation:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and design specifications.

Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in SAP FIORI development and maintenance.
• Strong skills in SAPUI5, XML, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CDS views and OData; ABAP knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience with SAP upgrade projects, specifically from a FIORI perspective.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
