Tittle: Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA onsite.
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities for the Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer include:
· Taking direction from senior developers and collaborating with internal teams to produce software.
· Participating in requirements analysis.
· Interpreting business requirement documents; writing clean, scalable, and functional code; unit testing code; preparing applications for deployment to production; and creating documentation as required.
· Fixing defects in legacy code.
· Working with source control on multiple simultaneous branches.
· Providing production support as needed, this includes being available to provide third tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays if needed.
· Improving existing software.
Required skills for the Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer:
· 12+ years of experience and expert level experience as a PL/SQL Application Developer using Toad, SQLPlus
· Must be able to create views, packages, functions, and stored procedures in PL/SQL
· Must be able to work with collections and async processes.
· Must be able to interpret execution plans and optimize queries and functions.
· Must be able to create complex DML, and debug it as needed.
· Must be able to work remotely and on-site based on client requirements.
· Must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
