Title: Lead Mainframe Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: Long term Contract
Job description:-
- Secure code in COBOL and familiar with secure coding standards(e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT)
- Strong REXX scripting and ZOS utility skills (File Aid, QMF, Spufi, syncsort, ISPF).
- Strong JCL coding skills. CICS skills are a plus.
- Strong DB2 skills required. In depth knowledge of SQL statements and functions, understanding of isolation levels, plus program binding.
- Coordinate, implement and document software configuration management (CM) and version control of mortgage and automotive mainframe and distributed applications.
- Leads and coordinates mainframe test data selection and extraction, including IMS, DB2 and TableBase.
- Automate & streamline mainframe test system data reset process.
- Automate & streamline mainframe batch performance test execution.
- Coordinate code migrations into mainframe performance test environment.
