About the Role: The Digital Technology team is looking to bring on a seasoned Data Scientist to support a high-profile legal application. The application reviews documentation/requests and classifies whether or not it has sensitive technical data and or any other ITAR/EAR information. This resource will help streamline their export classification process in this application by pulling data from different systems via an API, doing analysis and aggregation on that data and, then storing it in a repository for a dashboard to report off of it.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years’ experience as a Data Scientist in an Enterprise environment
- Experience building and maintaining ML data pipelines with Kedro or another pipelining tool
- Extensive experience with Python (scripting) and SQL (programming)
- Experience writing SQL queries against Oracle, Hawkeye, SAP or Teamcenter
- Analyzing data and moving data from one system to another
- Hands-on experience utilizing Pandas for Scikit-Learn for data analysis & manipulation
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of EAR/ITAR Regulations
- Experience processing big data sets
- Experience or knowledge of TeamCenter
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Python, pandas, and scikit-learn to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Kedro for efficient data management and integration.
- Write complex SQL queries and work with data warehousing solutions, including Synapse, to extract, transform, and load data.
- Use requests and web services to integrate and fetch data from external sources as needed.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment of data science models and solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Document methodologies, workflows, and results. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and visualizations.
