Position: SRE Delivery Manager
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Contract
Key Skills and Requirements :
• Provide oversight and governance to various SRE activities that happen in Pod 5-7
• Track day-to-day incidents and move them towards closure
• Responsible for managing the backlog for LTCM for Quality 1 platform Reliability and Availability, from an SRE perspective
• Assume end-to-end ownership/responsibility for platform related incidents, mobilize support from various teams and Pods and drive progress
• Make priority calls in consultations with PO/Principal Engineer on Product & SRE Features
• Own SLOs and Error budgets for Platforms
• Own technology trials & POCs, create plans for evaluations and interface with external vendors
• Publish reports and update key stakeholders on state of SRE implementations
• Collaborate with legacy Pods (1-4) and other organizations (Chofer etc) to identify key Product & SRE features to determine SRE Roadmap
• Continue to Streamline processes for incident management, problem management and change management. Ensure all SREs (existing & New) are compliant with the processes and take remedial actions
• Identify SRE training needs for the whole program and coordinate training programs.
