Role: Servicenow Software Asset Management Developer (SAM)
Location: Mclean VA and Plano TX (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term
Key Focus and Objectives for Role:
· Leverage ServiceNow SAM Pro or other SAM tools for data collection, normalization, reconciliation, and other features as needed.
· Data collection and upload of customer contract and license entitlement information received from customers, software partners, and resellers.
· Execute Proof of Concepts in customer environments
· Support and train customers, the SAM team on deployed SAM Solution
· Manage and support SAM solution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow SAM Pro
· Initial setup, configuration, and troubleshooting related to SAM Pro implementation.
· Customizations and scripting knowledge in ServiceNow.
· Assist and provide support on technical issues.
· Experience in enhancing the SAM Processes. Manage and maintain the SAM platform.
· Work with the customers to address current issues and future uses of the system.
· Import/ manage license entitlement in the SAM platform.
· Regular maintenance, patches, and upgrade activities
· SaaS integrations configuration & troubleshooting and other integrations required to bring consumption information in ServiceNow.
· Experience with reclamation rules, and other administration activities like – custom publisher part number, custom product etc.
· Experience with contract management modules, Software models, Procurement Module
· Report and Dashboard Management
· Knowledge of ServiceNow discovery and inventory requirement w.r.t SAM
· Help the licensing SME with the tool compliance generation.
Functional /Technical Competence:
· Advanced technical skills regarding system platforms
· Solid understanding of IT environments and infrastructure (Infra and Networking)
· Knowledge of CMDB’s, and Software Management tools/solutions highly desired.
· Familiarity with ITSM tools like Service Now, Remedy etc. is desired.
Experience: (Must Have)
· At least 7-8 years of proven experience in SAM/ITAM
· ServiceNow SAM Pro Platform knowledge
· Full-time graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology / Equivalent diploma in IT.
· Excellent communication skills
Experience: (Nice to Have)
· One or more of the following certifications: ITILv3; CSA, CAD, CIS – SAM
· Any other Tool experience, preferably in the IT asset management area covering Flexera, snow software.

· Communicate complex ideas efficiently and effectively, both verbally and in writing

· Adapt to changing business requirements.
· Ability and desire to effectively analyze large and complex sets of structured data.
