Job Description –
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Analysis:
· Act as a key driver in defining and refining business requirements for high-impact projects.
· Develop strategic roadmaps to align business goals with technological advancements and customer needs.
· Conduct enterprise-level gap analyses to identify opportunities for growth and process improvements.
Leadership in Stakeholder Collaboration:
· Partner with senior executives, department heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
· Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
Banking Product Expertise:
· Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for banking products, including payments, credit cards, deposits, mortgages, collections, autos, personal loans and mobile apps.
· Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Digital Transformation Leadership:
· Lead digital transformation initiatives focused on enhancing member experiences through improved online/mobile banking platforms, API integrations, and automation.
· Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure all solutions meet regulatory and security requirements.
Process Improvement and Solution Design:
· Oversee the design and implementation of optimized workflows and automated processes.
· Provide detailed business and functional specifications to guide technical teams in delivering high-quality solutions.
· Testing and Quality Assurance:
· Define and oversee robust testing strategies, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure business goals are met.
· Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure seamless implementation.
· Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
· Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, system specifications, and user guides.
· Mentor junior analysts and other team members, sharing expertise to build a strong, collaborative team.
Key Banking Products to Support:
Payments: Real-time payments, bill pay systems, and digital payment solutions.
Credit Cards: Card management systems, rewards platforms, and fraud prevention tools.
Deposits: Account origination, maintenance, and digital deposit systems.
Mortgages: Loan origination systems, underwriting workflows, and servicing platforms.
Mobile Apps: Enhancing mobile banking functionality, customer journey mapping, and performance optimization.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience:
· 15+ years in Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis.
· 15+ years in the banking or financial services domain, with expertise in multiple core banking products.
Skills and Expertise:
· Deep understanding of banking products (payments, credit cards, deposits, mortgages, and mobile apps).
· Proven ability to lead enterprise-level business analysis and process improvement initiatives.
· Advanced knowledge of compliance regulations, such as UDAAP, Truth in Savings, and data security protocols.
