Position Title: QA Automation

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite – Only Local Candidates) – No Relocation accepted

Role Type: Contract

Mandatory Skills:

Must have 5+ years specifically in test automation for microservices. Proven track record in microservices testing integration, contract (Pact or equivalent), and end-to-end testing.

Job Description:

· Develop and execute automated tests using various tools, including Postman, k6,load runner, Jmeter and other automation and performance testing tools

· Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts

· Identify and report defects in the software and work with development teams to resolve them

· Analyze and interpret test results, and provide recommendations for improving the software

· Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle

· Design and implement test automation frameworks

· Implement and maintain test automation infrastructure

· Conduct load and performance testing using Talos , k6 and other tools

· Provide guidance and support to software development teams on testing best practices, integration patterns, Git, and the PR process

· Conduct code reviews, including reviewing and approving Pull Requests (PRs) in Git

· Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in software testing and automation technologies, and evaluate their applicability to our platform

· Involve in User Story creation, product backlog, defect triaging and Scrum ceremonies

· Strong written and oral communication

· Must have hands on experience with Q-Test

· Expected to collaborate with development teams

· Ability to collaborate with release masters for release planning, follow up with other project contributors for any dependancies(even vendor partners)

· Experience in managing requirements from project inception through release

· Experience in functional testing and work with business users preparing UAT

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

· Minimum of 4years of experience in software testing and automation testing

· Experience with Postman and k6 for automation and performance testing

· Experience working in Talos Tool

· Experience with other automation and performance testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or Gatling

· Experience in testing REST APIs, web applications, and microservices

· Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies

· Experience with Git and the PR process

· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
