Position Title: Jira Developer

Location: Olathe, KS (Onsite)

Role Type: Contract

Job Description:

·         Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, screens, and fields to meet business requirements.

·         Expert in developing and maintaining custom Jira plugins and scripts using SIL Programming and Groovy scripting.

·         Implement and manage Automation for Jira to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

·         Integrate Jira with other tools and systems to streamline processes.

·         Utilize Jira and Confluence REST APIs and webhooks for integrations and automation. Write SQL queries to query Jira tables in Postgres SQL.

·         Experience with GitLab.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira configurations and performance.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

·         Maintain documentation for Jira configurations, customizations, and integrations. Stay updated with the latest Jira features and updates to leverage new functionalities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience with other Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket).

·         Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
