Position Title 1: AWS Senior DevOps engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite/Hybrid)

Role Type: Contract

Job Description:

·         5+ years experience in AWS

·         AWS professional and/or specialty certification, such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer

·         Experience in implementing Secure Architectures for private and/or public internet facing systems

·         Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and best practices. Such as K8S, Containers, Serverless, Microservices

·         Strong understanding of IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, Bitbucket, Bamboo  etc.

·         Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols and distributed systems

·         Experience designing and developing resilient, highly available and scalable systems for the cloud

·         Experience in cloud cost optimization and budget management

·         Proficiency in Python, AWS CLI

·         Working knowledge of Shared Responsibility models

·         Prior experience building out CI/CD pipelines

·         Experience working in Agile teams, and related tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)

·         Background in software development a plus

·         understanding of the financial markets a plus

·         Azure experience a plus

·         BA or BS in any STEM or related field. Masters a plus
