Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Application Development Consultant to join our agile scrum team. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Collibra Data Quality & Observability application. The successful candidate will work within a strong development team to implement new products in the financial sector using cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Collibra Data Quality & Observability application.
- Work on Collibra workflows, API connections, and develop solutions using Java.
- Exhibit strong data quality expertise.
- Connect to and scan databases and data lakes, integrating with RDBMS, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Java/REST APIs, etc.
- Implement CI/CD version control practices and tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub.
- Develop microservices and API/Event Driven Architecture solutions.
- Review technology documents and collaborate with external vendors and internal partners.
- Communicate pertinent information on upgrades and major releases.
- Apply knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle for Iterative, Agile, and traditional approaches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of IT experience with Collibra and Collibra Data Quality.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise application Data Quality tools installation, administration, configuration, and customization.
- Hands-on experience with Collibra Information Intelligence Catalog system configuration.
- Experience implementing Collibra workflow design and implementation.
- Familiarity with facilitating requirement elicitation working sessions, creating solution architecture documents, and implementation specs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on the Collibra Data Quality platform.
- Experience implementing custom integration leveraging Collibra APIs.
- Experience implementing data governance metrics leveraging Collibra Data Quality metadata.
Experience and Background:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Quality configuration.
- 3+ years of experience with Collibra integration.
