Job Description:-
- Providing IT support for the Reemployment Assurance systems.
- Assisting with batch activity
- Providing services for the Multi Language Translation (MLT) framework
- Providing design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy
- Developing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features
- Using a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers
- Providing expertise regarding the integration of applications across Commerce
- Determining specifications, planning, designing, and developing the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes— either individually or in concert with a project team
- Assisting in the most difficult support problems
- Developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as Programming architectures for code reuse
- Researching and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to Commerce
- Viewing both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines
- Developing and maintaining Team Foundation Service (TFS) such as build/release automation, branching merging strategies, roles and permissions, custom task creation,TFS- Command Line Interface (CLI), and build definitions Visual Studio Online/Extensible Application Markup Language (VSO/XAML)
- Participating in the Technical Change Control Board activities which include code refactoring, design reviews and Read Only Memory (ROM) estimate for projects and enhancements
- Acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:-
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or other related field/equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 7 years of design and/or development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Oracle and SQL Server in an n-tier architecture.
- Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
- Experience with database design and development (Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience with SQL tuning
- Experience with development source control (TFS)
- Experience as a project leader on multiple IT projects
- Experience as an expert/lead technical role
- Experience working various projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments
- An understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
- Ability to support production deployments
- Ability to assist with troubleshooting deployment issues
- Ability to assist with branching/merging in support of parallel development requirements
- Experience with setting up continuous integration capabilities
- Experience with setting up builds, transformations, and deployment configurations for each environment
- A minimum of seven (7) years of .Net 4.5 and higher
- A minimum of five (5) years of Visual Studio 2015 or higher
- An in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs
- Ability to understand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies
- Experience with on-premise, Azure DevOps and DevOps.
