Role: – IAM with ISAM, WebSeal, and CIAM Expert
Location: – Baltimore, MD – REMOTE AT THIS TIME – BUT CANDIDATES NEED TO BE LOCAL TO MARYLAND, VIRGINIA OR WASHINGTON DC AREAS OR NEARBY AT CLOSE DRIVING DISTANCE SO THEY CAN BE ONSITE AT CUSTOMER LOCATION AS AND WHEN NEEDED ON A VERY SHORT NOTICE.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ISAM, WebSEAL, and CIAM Expert to join our IT Security team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), WebSEAL, and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security frameworks to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Design and Implementation:
o Design and implement ISAM, WebSEAL, and CIAM solutions to meet business and security requirements.
o Configure and manage secure access controls, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
o Hands-on experience to support application integration with CIAM solutions.
o Knowledge of process and flows of Open ID connect, SAML, OAuth.
o Hands On knowledge of API integration with CIAM solution for Authentication.
§ Maintenance and Support:
o Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ISAM, WebSEAL, and CIAM systems.
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to access management and authentication.
o Managing the requests for access, managing the SSO policies, and workflows.
o Responsible for managing the web gates agents for different applications.
o Performing root cause analysis for any issues related to WebSeal and reverse proxy agents.
§ Security Management:
o Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
o Perform regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
§ Collaboration:
o Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate ISAM, WebSEAL, and CIAM with other security solutions.
o Collaborate with business units to understand their access requirements and ensure compliance with security standards.
§ Documentation and Training:
o Create and maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, processes, and procedures, knowledge-based articles, High level design and low-level design.
o Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on security best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience:
§ Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on ISAM, WebSEAL, and CIAM solutions.
§ Proven experience with IBM Security Access Manager and WebSEAL configuration and administration.
§ Experience with CIAM platforms and solutions (e.g., Okta, MS Entra, ForgeRock, Ping Identity).
Technical Skills:
§ Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and best practices.
§ Proficiency in configuring and managing SSO, MFA, and secure access controls.
§ Experience with LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and other authentication protocols.
§ Exposure to a variety of programming languages and technologies, including, but not limited to, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .Net, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL
§ Experience in working with IIS, Apache Web Servers, Application Servers (WebLogic, WebSphere) or developing J2EE products.
§ Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
§ Advanced certifications in IT security or IAM (e.g., CISSP, CISM, IAM certifications).
§ Experience with cloud-based security solutions and environments.
§ Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation.
