Role- ElasticSearch or OpenSearch Developer/ Administrator
Location- Overland Park, Kansas (Hybrid)

• Elasticsearch Implementation:
o Design and implement Elasticsearch clusters to meet the organization’s search and analytics requirements
o Configure and optimize Elasticsearch indices and mappings
• Elastic Stack Integration:
o Implement and configure other components of the Elastic Stack, including Logstash and Kibana
o Ensure seamless integration between various Elastic Stack components
• Performance Optimization:
o Monitor and optimize the performance of Elasticsearch clusters
o Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues
• Security and Access Control:
o Implement security measures for Elasticsearch clusters, including access control and encryption
o Stay updated on Elastic Stack security best practices and apply them to the organization’s environment
• Logging and Data Ingestion:
o Design and implement efficient log shipping and data ingestion processes
o Experience with programming languages commonly used with OpenSearch/ElasticSearch (e.g., Java) to help app dev teams craft efficient integrations, query patterns, and indexes.
o Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance logging capabilities
• Documentation and Training:
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Elastic Stack configurations and processes
o Provide training and support to other team members on Elastic Stack usage

Title : Cloud SME (Linux)/ Azure Linux Engineer

Azure Linux Engineer– L2/L3
HCL Cloud Services team is looking for an experienced Linux Engineers with expertise in implementation and migration executions. In this role, you’ll work closely with architecture and operations team on some of HCL’s largest and most strategic customer engagements to build new Infrastructure, perform migrations, implement POC solutions.

o Designation – Technical Specialist/Associate Consultant/ Consultant
o Experience – A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an engineering/operations role with a software and/or services company.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x7x365 global support delivery team. Combine technical expertise and customer requirements to solve complex business challenges.
• Provisioning & Managing Operating System, Azure IaaS & PaaS Service.
• Ability to quickly identify customer issues and being able to conduct in-depth diagnostics on Linux platform and services.
• Work with Architects to deliver solutions and deploy new capabilities in customer environment.
• Analyse and eliminate top issues impacting customer experience.
• Build automation to solve customer problems and develop scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities.
• Create documentation (SOP’s & TSG’s) to help L1/L2 teams to support operations.
• Work on critical, highly complex customer scenarios that span across multiple Linux flavours
• Act as a technical escalation point within the team
• Work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in a technical position and a minimum of 2 years of experience as Linux Azure Cloud Engineer.
• Expertise in OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, SUSE, CentOS & Ubuntu).
• Strong experience on cluster services (SUSE SAP & RHEL).
• Hands-on experience on Containers – Docker, Kubernetes & Red Hat Openshift is an advantage.
• Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef & OpenStack is preferable.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, NGINX, NFS, DNS, LDAP & SAMBA.
• Experience in PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, YAML or JSON scripting preferred.
• Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for customers and focus on delivering the right customer experience.
