Job Title: Backend Node.js Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
· Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
· Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
· Ensure data security and protection across applications.
· Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure reliability and performance.
· Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
· Proven experience as a Node.js developer.
· Strong understanding of JavaScript and its asynchronous nature.
· Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
· Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
· Understanding of security best practices and data protection.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with frameworks such as Express.js.
· Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
· Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
