Role: Technical Architect IV Informatica IICS Consultant
Location: Madison WI (100% Remote Once confirming the project candidate should relocate to WI )
Interview Process: 1 round via Microsoft Teams.
Duration: 6/30/2025, likely to extend.
Onsite or Remote? Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. This position can work 100% remote (within the state of WI) or in the office.

UW-Madison’s Division of Information Technology – Enterprise Business Systems is looking for an Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) consultant with experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions using Informatica and is experienced with AWS.
Responsibilities
Mentor team on creating and implementing Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) integrations.
Contribute to IICS integration design for future-state HR and financial ancillary systems.
Meet regularly with Development team and leads.
Attend stand up meetings & Sprint Reviews to report on work status.
Work closely with Functional Business analysts and Testing leads to troubleshoot and discuss problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
3 years of experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Integration Solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
3 years of experience developing ETL integrations
3 years of experience implementing batch and real-time (event-based and API) data integration frameworks and/or applications
3 years of experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI) for bulk data ingestion
Experience interfacing with different Operating systems at command-line level, such as Linux and Windows.
Understanding of data analysis, data and process modeling and relational database concepts.
Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
3 years of experience in integrating Informatica Cloud with other applications like Salesforce and Workday
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Higher Ed institutions
Experience using Agile/Scrum practices
Workday implementation experience
Experience with AWS services such as AWS DMS, Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Redshift, Airflow, and other AWS tools and services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or related field or extensive applicable experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow developers, sharing insights into best practices, tips, and techniques for optimizing AWS data solutions.
AWS certifications related to data engineering or databases are a plus.
Python coding experience.
