General Characteristics
* Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
* High level professionalism, passion and strong time management and task prioritizations.
* Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and decision makers on business requirements.
* Experience in department of corrections policies and procedures is a plus.
* Understanding the technical aspects including database structures, tables, views, and relationships to gather technical requirements.
* Understanding of data migration tools (ETL) to map the data migration requirements.
* Engage with end users and stakeholders to analyses and understand roles and responsibilities to conduct requirements gathering.
* Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand the business process and workflows between end users and stakeholders, analyzing inputs and outputs with manual and automated processes.
* Document business, functional and technical requirements and map them to the solutions and desired capabilities.
* Reviewing existing policies and technical and business documentation to understand existing and legacy system functionality.
* Drafting user stories, use cases and confirming with business users.
* Collaborate with Development/QA team to develop viable solutions and make recommendations to the project manager and product owner.
* Support system demos and user acceptance testing (UAT) to document the defects and gather change requests and enhancements identification.
* Utilize project management and business analysis tools including MS project, Excel, Word, MS Visio and ALM.
* Willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
Dimensions Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
Complexity:
Intermediate professional level role. Works with business partners within one business function to align technology solutions with business strategies. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of a business area to resolve problems on an ongoing business. Supports several moderately complex business processes.
