Position: Oracle Solution Architect (Strong in ODI, SSIS, Data Modeler, Oracle databse, performance tuning etc)
Location: Remote
Should work in PST time Zone
Job Description:
- Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture
- Working together with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements.
- Builds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another
- Debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data
- Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, ) and database security
- Experience working with SSIS packages
- Extensive experience designing and implementing ETL processes using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle performance tuning.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution
- Developing and maintaining architectural standards and best practices
- Providing technical guidance and support to development teams
- Participating in the continuous improvement of the solution and its components.
- Design and document the overall architecture of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to understand their needs and gather requirements for the technology solution.
- Assess various technologies and platforms to determine the most suitable options for the solution, considering factors such as cost, performance, and compatibility.
- Provides technical expertise and guidance to development teams, helping them implement the solution effectively and troubleshoot any issues.
- Ensures that the technology solution meets the necessary performance, scalability, and security standards, addressing any potential risks or vulnerabilities.
- Responsible for identifying potential risks and issues related to the solution and taking appropriate steps to mitigate them, ensuring the project’s success.
- Actively seek opportunities for improvement and contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the technology solution, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
