Requirement 1 — Job Title: SAP Treasury Lead

Location: Tampa, FL

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Visa Restrictions: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: Some travel to Thousand Oaks, California, and Tampa, Florida. Client does not cover travel expenses.

Years of Experience: 10-15

Job Overview:

Join a cutting-edge SAP S/4HANA transformation project. This project is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the beginning of a greenfield SAP S/4HANA 2023 implementation. The role focuses on SAP Treasury, S/4HANA Finance, and Bank Integration, supporting the replacement of Amgen's SAP ECC system. The candidate will play a crucial role in shaping  business transformation to clean core and fit-to-standard processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1.         SAP Treasury Functional Lead:

o          Design and configure the SAP Treasury process, including inbound/outbound payables, In-House Cash, bank master setup, clearing, reconciliation, and integration to banks.

o          Design and build interfaces and integration to external Treasury systems (e.g., FIS Quantum).

2.         Finance Process Design and Management:

o          Lead functional interactions with the client from solution design to deployment, ensuring seamless transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

o          Manage master data setup and integration for vendor/customer/account data related to banking processes.

o          Define and design future-state processes to meet the client’s evolving needs.

3.         Team Leadership:

o          Lead a team of 1-2 offshore functional resources in designing and building the Treasury solution.

o          Provide oversight for security role design, configuration, testing, and training activities.

4.         Functional Expertise:

o          Lead the management of functional finance-related interactions throughout the design, build, test, cutover, and deployment phases.

o          Ensure the proper change impact analysis, security measures, and controls are in place for the project.

Must-Have Skills:

•           SAP Treasury experience with a strong understanding of SAP Finance processes.

•           Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance.

•           Proven experience in bank interface/integration.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

•           Life Sciences industry experience.

•           Familiarity with SAP FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management).

•           Strong communication skills.

Industry Experience:

•           Life Sciences industry experience is required, with a focus on Treasury and Financial Management.

Education Requirements:

•           Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Additional Information:

•           This role will require some on-site presence in Tampa, FL, and Thousand Oaks, CA, with the majority of work being remote.

•           The project offers a great opportunity to work on a large SAP S/4HANA implementation from the ground up, with potential for contract extension.

 
 
 

Requirement 2 — Job Title: SAP FI Lead

Location: Houston, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-office Tue-Thu, Client office in Houston)

Travel/Expense: No travel expenses paid; candidates must be local to Houston or bear the cost of travel themselves.

Duration: Potential 30% chance of extension

Job Overview:

We are seeking a SAP FI Lead with expertise in SAP FICO, SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA), and SAP Project System (PS) for a hybrid role based in Houston, TX. The candidate must be able to collaborate with an offshore team in India and be hands-on with problem-solving and system implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong oil and gas industry experience, though this is not a strict requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

1.            Financial Closing Support:

o             Coordinate and manage month-end, quarter-end, half-year, and year-end financial closing processes.

2.            Accounts Payable/Receivable:

o             Handle vendor check payments, voided payments, check clearing issues, and payment term creation.

o             Resolve issues related to GR/IR clearing accounts and intercompany reconciliation.

3.            Banking:

o             Manage bank interfaces, including Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), DME issues, house banks, account IDs, and manual bank statements.

o             Address issues with bank file uploads, interface postings, batch job failures, and lockbox setups.

4.            Controlling (CO):

o             Strong knowledge of CO, including cost center accounting, functional area processes, allocation structures, assessment, and distribution.

o             Experience with Profit Center Accounting (PCA) and other controlling processes.

5.            Project System & Investment Management Accounting:

o             Manage project creation, system/user status, settlement of costs, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

o             Perform year-end close activities related to PS, FXA, cost centers, and GL.

6.            Joint Venture Accounting (JVA):

o             Set up JVA for new company codes, equity groups, and manage JV master data.

o             Address BAU issues, including equity changes, cutbacks, drilling cost calculations, and year-end close activities.

o             Handle cutback rule mapping, cash call processes, partner netting, JV billing, and balance carry forward activities.

7.            General Ledger:

o             Execute GL reporting and use Hyperion for reporting and setting up company codes.

8.            Asset Accounting:

o             Configure asset accounting, chart of depreciation, and depreciation keys.

o             Manage asset history, transfers, and year-end close for assets.

9.            Asset Retirement Obligation Module (AROM):

o             Analyze key dates, forecast dates, and inflation index table mapping for asset retirements.

10.          Financial Closing Cockpit (FCC):

•             Automate financial closing tasks and create templates for efficient closing processes.

11.          Security & Authorization:

•             Manage roles and authorizations for business users and provide necessary support.

Must-Have Skills:

•             SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling)

•             SAP JVA (Joint Venture Accounting)

•             SAP PS (Project System)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

•             SAP AROM (Asset Retirement Obligation Module)

•             SAP Financial Closing Cockpit (FCC)

Preferred Industry Experience:

•             Oil and Gas industry experience is preferred.

Education:

•             Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Additional Information:

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience and be able to work closely with the offshore team based in India. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and technical proficiency in SAP FI, JVA, PS, and related modules.
