Position : SAP Cloud architect
Location : Woodlands Texas/ Hybrid
Duration : Contract
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient SAP cloud solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and other SAP cloud offerings.
- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of SAP systems in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud architecture solutions.
- Develop and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud architecture and deployments.
- Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effective and high-performance SAP solutions.
- Integrate SAP cloud solutions with on-premise systems and third-party applications.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing cloud architecture, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development and operations teams.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance of SAP cloud environments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless migration of SAP workloads to the cloud.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud architecture-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and SAP solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience in SAP architecture, design, and deployment in cloud environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and other SAP cloud services.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their integration with SAP.
- Proficiency in SAP modules like S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA.
- Experience with cloud security, identity management, and compliance standards.
- Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- SAP certification(s) in cloud architecture or related areas is a plus.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies for cloud deployment and management.
