Job description :
This is a Software Engineer who can do data testing. Java, SQL, Python, AWS. Data Testing: Finding bugs and fixing them.
This a developer who can help with bug fix, testing and then actually executing on the fix!
Notes:
· Modernizing legacy systems, currently in the final stretch of the project
· Need software engineers, perform testing on data and then make the fix as soon as possible.
· Some knowledge of accounting is helpful.
· SQL, AWS, Snowflake, analytic mindset, Python, Spark and Hadoop (nice to have)
· Must sit onsite in Plano, TX hybrid (Mon & Fri/Tue-Thu onsite)
Must have experience in Python & SQL
We are working toward existing SHAW Mainframe. The candidate will be working on modern ETL tools like EMR, Apache Spark, AWS, Java and home-grown tools. We plan to exit SHAW by Q2 2024 and hence will need the support for the duration of the contract.
AWS, IAM, EMR, Spark, modern pipelines, Jenkins, Java; motivated to get things done.
