Role : Test Architect
Location – Des Moines, IA- Onsite

C2C Requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Strategy Development: Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies that ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Test Framework Design: Design and develop scalable and maintainable test frameworks for automated testing.
  • Continuous Integration: Integrate testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, continuous testing.
  • Test Automation: Lead the creation, maintenance, and improvement of automated test scripts and tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the execution of test plans and test cases, ensuring alignment with product requirements and business goals.
  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to QA engineers and other team members on best practices in testing and quality assurance.
  • Performance Testing: Design and implement performance testing strategies to identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Defect Management: Track, analyze, and report on defects and testing progress, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test strategies, frameworks, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in software testing, with at least [X] years in a test architect or similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
    • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
    • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
    • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
    • Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Leadership skills and experience mentoring team members.
