Job Description:

Job Title :     Systems Engineer

Location :     Hybrid to Brookfield, WI

End Client :  Working with Prime Vendor

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the design, implementation and operation of Microsoft Windows, Linux, VMWare and cloud infrastructure platforms
  • Provide support for the LAN, WAN, Firewall and Load Balancing solutions and for the implementation and operation of Microsoft application environments such as Active Directory, Azure, Exchange, and M365
  • Provide support for the design, implementation and operation of the standard infrastructure applications such as backup, anti-virus, security, patching, monitoring, and ITSM tools
  • Ensure disaster recovery solution is operational, maintained and meeting the business needs

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery, design or support role for on-premises and/or cloud infrastructure
  • Proven experience in and supporting Microsoft, Linux or server clusters
  • Background creating automated environment deployment processes with tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with core access and identity components such as Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP and Client
  • Experience installing and/or supporting VMWare and Cisco Networking Equipment, including routers, switches and firewalls
  • Storage LUN creation, vSAN stretched clustering, storage disk utilization and management
  • Enterprise networking – routing protocols & traffic flow, VLAN and subnet management
  • Knowledge of SDWAN is nice to have
  • VPLEX experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent
