Location: Onsite Midland, MI

Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field with at least 6+ years of experience in VMware, Windows and Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu). Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and to complete tasks with minimal management oversight.
Required skills:
- At least 6+ years of general Window and Linux server support is required. Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating systems issues and Linux operating systems issues.
- Manage operational changes and incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to protocols.
- Perform routine checks and backups to ensure system integrity and data protection.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux-based servers and applications.
- Knowledge of basic TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in change management and incident resolution.
- Proficient in ServiceNow.
Work on-site in our client’s Midland Michigan location.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with datacentre on-site operations.
- Ability to collaborate with third-party vendors for repair facilitation.
- Experience in infrastructure-related tasks, such as building virtual machines.
- Proficiency in maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
- Expertise in managing and operating VMware vSphere environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
