Job Title: Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Miramar, FL (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months Contract W/extension

Job Description:

Facilities & Site Delivery-Specific PM Requirements:

Ability to read, understand, interpret, and mark up architectural drawings with the ability to apply to the project requirements and discuss with the technical/engineering teams for solution design and delivery. CAD drawings include overall architectural plans and MEP and their implications to infrastructure components (low voltage cabling, equipment, and services).
CAD knowledge is not required.
General understanding of permitting process as it relates to new construction and the IT Infrastructure required to support new construction.
Working knowledge of Procore.
Understand the impact to proposed or as-designed infrastructure solutions and delivery resulting from changes to architectural components and convey effectively to the infrastructure engineers.

REQUIRED:

7+ years experience delivering large, complex facilities/construction projects (15-30 projects in last 5 years) in large enterprise companies.
Enterprise Level Experience (have worked in large organizations in the past)
Active PMP certification
General understanding of power distribution IDS/ IES/ IT closets
Ability to take architectural drawings and take a look at mechanical engineering and plumbing and reflected ceiling plans and understand notations, schedules, converse with business parties, understand structural technical impact
General knowledge of certificate of occupancy, permits, and what can/cannot do, etc.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Many projects are warehouse/warehouse type facilities…Calls w/ business, general contractors, architects, etc.
Not looking for experts, but have general experience in areas discussed
Looking for contractors with initiative to research/seek answers
Planview – team will provide training…If they have experience, a plus but not required….Experience using similar tools is good

MANAGER HIGHLIGHTED:

Well versed in infrastructure & infrastructure technology section of JD and has delivered these projects in PIM/PMBOK-driven, rigorous PPMO (50%)
Executive Presence & Communication Skills (25%)
IT/Professional Engineering background (15%)
Experience using enterprise PPM tool to manager schedule/budgets/resources (Planview, MSPO, ServiceNow, Primavera, etc.) (5%)
Entrepreneurial Spirit – owns their project, self-motivated to take action/drive results
