Job Title: Sr. ERP Automation Tester / QA

Location: IL / Hybrid

Contract: C2C

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and skilled ERP Automation Tester with at least one year of experience in greenfield implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP testing, with a focus on automation. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop and execute automated testing strategies to ensure the successful deployment of ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for greenfield ERP implementation projects, ensuring all functionalities meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define the testing scope and objectives.
• Design and implement automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various phases of testing, including unit, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
• Perform data validation, interface testing, and end-to-end process testing to ensure the integrity and accuracy of ERP systems.
• Utilize Selenium testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Provide regular status reports on testing progress, including metrics on test execution, defect status, and overall project health.
• Work closely with developers and other team members to debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ERP trends, tools, and methodologies, and recommend improvements to testing processes and practices.
• Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the overall quality and success of the ERP implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ERP automation testing, with a focus on greenfield implementations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their modules.
• Proven experience in developing and executing automated test plans and strategies for ERP projects.
• Proficiency in using automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, QTP/UFT).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications in ERP systems or software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL and service management practices.
